# Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Enterprise Application

**ContraForce for MDE Overview**

The Microsoft Defender for Endpoint enterprise application is used to facilitate visibility and management access for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint data. This is used in the Portal Endpoints page, where MDE data is aggregated.
